Supportive Care Coordinator
As a key member of the interdisciplinary team the Supportive Care Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the delivery of the Palliative Care Approach with a focus on the psychological, social, emotional, spiritual, grief and bereavement domains of care at Oak Ridges Hospice. The Supportive Care Coordinator will provide support primarily to the residents, their families, and at times to staff and volunteers. The Supportive Care Coordinator will also coordinate the Grief and Bereavement volunteer program in collaboration with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Custodian - Part Time
Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator under the day-to-day direction of the Facilities Coordinator, Oak Ridges Hospice’s custodians will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep, maintaining and protecting our residence. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space, a keen eye for detail and diligence. The internal and external appearance of the building reflects on the entire team. At Oak Ridges Hospice we provide care and support to residents and their loved ones experiencing their end-of-life journey, and as such it is most important for our custodians to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. They will also be a significant player in our organizational culture of respect, kindness and compassion.
Fund Development & Communications Lead
The Fund Development and Communication Lead is responsible for supporting organizational fundraising initiatives and goals, operational objectives and strategic goals, quality improvement, risk assessment, accreditation support, and compliance. This position also provides oversight to all aspects of marketing for the organization, including print materials, websites and social media. This role must provide support that embodies critical thinking and proactive problem solving, intuition, time management and collaboration skills.
