Dr. Steve Russell - Board Chair
Dr. Steve Russell has been a family physician in Port Perry since 1993. He has a special interest in palliative care, and established the Palliative Care Team for North Durham over 20 years ago. He has been active in providing palliative care training to other family physicians for many years, in collaboration with the Durham Region Palliative Care Physicians Group. He lives with his wife in Port Perry, where they have raised their three children.
Kevin Morgan - Vice Chair
Kevin Morgan is the Founder and CEO of K&K Recycling Services, a state-of-the-art national scrap metal collection, recycling and processing company headquartered in Pickering, Ontario. Kevin graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a BA in Administrative and Commercial Studies. Kevin has been a resident of Pickering for over 40 years where he lives with his wife and three children.
Stephen Gray is the CEO of Medical Associates of Port Perry/North Durham Family Health Team, a practice of 40 physicians and 14 allied health professionals. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and completed his professional designation in 2000. He has been involved in senior management of organizations in various industries since 1992. Stephen presently sits on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Medical Group Managers Association and is involved in various local charitable organizations.
Gail Guimond enjoyed a 25 year career managing a family business in the Automotive Industry before changing gears in 2013. Gail graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a BA in Administrative and Commercial Studies and is a lifetime resident of Oakville where she currently volunteers and works as an administrator at Ian Anderson House, Ontario’s first residential cancer hospice.
Dave Sidhu’s path to community care and philanthropy has long been connected to business, and as President of EM Dynamics Inc., the company’s success over the past 30 years has been achieved in parallel with the provision of sports outreach programs for youth at both a local and international level.
As part of a dedicated team, Dave was instrumental in establishing the Sher-E-Punjab Academy in Chakar, Punjab where by fostering a deep respect for the power of education & excellence in sport, the school has changed lives by decreasing illiteracy rates, reducing drug abuse and improving the value of women across neighbouring villages.
With a diverse set of experiences and achievements in project management, Dave looks forward to bringing his passion and expertise to Oak Ridges Hospice.
